I’ve been writing since i was old enough to hold a pen.

Now, after 7 years of singing professionally on cruise ships all over the world, I am living my true passion: words, in all their glorious forms. Whether you need help editing your manuscript or you need support for any other kind of wordy masterpiece you may be working on, I’d love to help make it—and you—shine.

  • A developmental edit.

    An in-depth analysis of dialogue, character, plot, plausibility, marketability, pacing, tone & flow, clarity and emotional impact.

    You will receive a 5000-word report including a chapter-by-chapter breakdown for ease of revisions, and in-line comments throughout the margin. This does not include line edits.

    Turnaround time:

    65,000-100,000 words - 5 weeks

    100,000-150,000 words- 6 weeks

    >150,000 words- please enquire

    Novellas/novels under 65,000 words- please enquire

  • Partial manuscript editing

    An in-depth analysis of dialogue, character, plot, plausibility, pacing, tone & flow, clarity and emotional impact.

    You will receive in-line comments throughout the margin. This does not include line/copy edits.

    Turnaround time:

    <5000 words- 1 week

    5000-20,000 words- 3 weeks

    Partial manuscripts over 20,000 words- please enquire

    £0.0095 per word

  • A second pass for returning manuscripts

    A second pass of a manuscript that has already been through a Full Dissection edit with me, covering character, plot, plausibility, pacing, tone & flow, clarity and emotional impact

    Includes: In-line comments (not line edits) in the margin & a 2000-word report. Both focusing on revised areas/changes.

    Turnaround time:

    65,000-100,000 words = 4 weeks

    100,000-150,000 words = 5 weeks

    >150,000 words = 6 weeks

Please note that a 25% deposit is payable via BACS before my work commences.

I am happy to provide a free, no-obligation sample edit on a 1000-word section from the middle of the manuscript (Full Dissections only)

How does it work?

Drop me a DM, or message through my website (linked in bio). Let me know the service you’re after, the slot (I work monthly) you’d ideally like, and the genre/exact word count of your manuscript

I’ll get in touch to arrange a sample edit (for Full Dissections only). Then I’ll return the edited sample with the offered slot and quote/time frame, along with some terms for you to look through (to protect us both) and my payment info. If you’re happy with everything, go ahead and send over the 25% deposit to secure your slot!

You’re booked in! If something goes awry and you need to postpone, I am happy to roll your deposit over to the next available slot.

When it’s time, you’ll send over your completed manuscript in a Word doc, along with the 2nd 25% of your quoted price.

I will work on your project and keep you updated periodically throughout. You can ask questions/ask for updates if you need to!

Your completed project will be made available to you on the deadline as agreed. Then, once the final 50% of the quoted price is received, I will release it to you. You are welcome to clarify any points made or any questions you have via email during your revision process.

  • Thriller/suspense/psychological

  • Fantasy (all subgenres)

  • Horror (suspenseful horror as opposed to extreme gore/slasher)

  • Sci-fi (though anything extremely ‘out there’ may not be a great fit)

  • YA (all genres)

I will not work on projects containing animal abuse. Hunting is fine as long as there are no super graphic descriptions e.g skinning
